My Background.
Hi my name is Denise Hamada and I have been a Registered Nurse for 31 years with multiple specialties over the years. My last nursing role was in wound care, primarily in long term care facilities. I have also serviced neighbor island communities in need of assistance.
Why become a Senior Advocate?
My heart has always been looking out for our Kupuna which started with my grandparents when I was very young. This led me into becoming a nurse. CareSift has given me the opportunity to personally help our kupuna and their ohana here in Hawaii, even those who make Hawaii their homes later in life. I believe that everyone in Hawaii is my ohana.
A little about myself.
I’m an animal lover; my friends call me Dr Doolittle or Noah. I would love to open an animal sanctuary when I retire.
