There are few words that can begin to express our thanks and appreciation in allowing us to be beneficiaries of CareSift’s services. In specific, Myra, our advocate, worked tirelessly in helping us with two (simultaneous) placements for our senior Aunt and Uncle.
The placement for my Uncle was extremely challenging given the timing of the discharge, which was compounded by it happening over a holiday weekend. This virtually gave us no time to find a facility that would work for my Aunt’s commute to visit my Uncle. As you’re well aware, family visits can have a very positive and powerful impact on someone. Hence, the importance of my Aunt being able to visit her husband as often as possible – in this case, daily.
Myra worked diligently over the weekend to help us navigate potential solutions for a lateral transfer. Her depth of knowledge, experience, compassion, and patience was a lifeline to what we felt to be a dire and overwhelming situation. Her composure and reassurance through this ordeal made the process seamless and smooth.
My family and I are eternally grateful for your organization’s aloha, malama and presence on the islands.
