Our family would like to recognize two awesome CareSift advocates. Wes and Myra.
Wes was our initial contact. He was very polite and professional. listened to our concerns and understood our situation. Within a day we were on our way to provide the best care possible for our aunt. She was single and lived alone. Her medical situation would not allow her to return home. Wes had many years of experience and has successfully helped many families.
After a month in the hospital, her health and medical needs changed. Wes consulted with his co-advocate Myra. She immediately contacted the hospital to gain more information to assist with Auntie’s care needs. We then learned that Aunties care needs would not allow her to be admitted to a care facility.
Aunty was now [many many] days in the hospital. All she wanted was to return home. Knowing this, Myra proceeded to locate options for us. Aunty was single and lived alone. it would be a challenge to bring Aunty home. Aunty finally discharged from the hospital and returned home to spend her last 5 days in her own home.
Thank you Wes and Myra for realizing Auntie’s dream.
